Lobster bisque sent back because it was cold and had lumps of what I think was flour. She did not seem to have gotten any direction from management. I could see in the face of the new server how upset she was and I don't blame her. It must have been a half hour or so for them to make up the checks and then another little eternity for them to straighten them out after they were all messed up. One had the demonstrated a nasty disposition, the other was new and inexperienced and seemingly not getting any help from the first one. party over the fact that part of his meal did not show up.

Could not even get our beverage order correct. Food was tepid to cold, everyone in our party not served at the same time. The servers who were 'taking care' of us just could not do it. Great end to a great (albeit culinary-mixed) holiday. By UK standards, the portions were also huge - take a spare stomach if you’re not used to such a big pile of pasta at one sitting. Not super-cheap but not exorbitant either - just right for lovely pasta, great bread and really decent cocktails. If you’re flying out from the airport and staying at the Radisson, this place could not be more convenient. The Margarita was great and I got asked if I wanted a salt rim (yes please), something other places promised but never delivered. I’ve also had some overpriced cocktails of highly dubious quality on my travels but not so at Romano’s. After two weeks of overly salty, strangely sweet meat-heavy bland fare, it was such a treat to have vegetable-rich freshly prepared pasta. We got to select our own pasta ingredients which were plentiful, fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. After two weeks of craving some good bread, we had a delicious fresh crusty loaf flavoured with rosemary to dip into a seasoned bowl of olive oil. The service was brisk and the ambience was lovely - it deserves to be busier. The staff were unfailingly friendly (having just come from Cedar Point, our food and service expectations were rock bottom…). finding good quality food at reasonable prices. We’ve spent two weeks touring USA from the UK with varied success on. I don’t tend to write many reviews but felt compelled to after visiting this great restaurant. We were hesitant about visiting Romano’s because of the mixed reviews, but so glad we did.
